Trip Requests and Trip Plans
Our site is a business-to-consumer site. We are the “travel planners/organizers”, you are “the client/traveler”. We are not a tourist agency so we do not book any of your accommodations, methods of travel or venue visits. We simply plan out, in highest detail, your desired and unique trip, and we send you links recommending certain accommodations, methods of travel and/or venue visits based on your preferences, interests and stated budget. Simply, we plan and organize everything based on what information you give us through our “contact form”. With some of the accommodation places, airlines, venues and/or booking sites, we maintain affiliate accounts. So, if you decide to take advantage of our recommendations, we will receive a small fee based on a certain percentage of the total sale. We mainly use those funds for website maintenance and supporting our bloggers. We recently became affiliates for few online wine shops and a premiere wine club.
The Site may track the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, browser type, IP addresses, External Web Sites (defined below) linked to, and we may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate, but such information will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and it will not contain personally identifiable information. We may use such aggregate information to analyze trends, administer the Site, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Links to Third Party Sites
At the SP we use secure server software (SSL) which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. SSL encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
We may employ procedural and technological measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. The SP may use firewall protection, password protection, internal restrictions on who in the SP has access to your personally identifiable information and other security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information.
